An immersive French course that exceeded my expectations.
Stayed in Kerfiac for one week for an immersive French course and really had an amazing time! Bernard is an excellent teacher with great experience, and the course itself is tailored to your needs and adjusted along the way if deemed necessary. His explanation skills and patience, combined with the course material and personal work, left me with a progression I didn’t expect to be possible beforehand. Other than most language courses, I actually progressed a lot in French that can be applied in real life, simply because of the focus on speaking/phonetics. Thank you so much!
The stay itself is equally pleasant, in a tranquil area between the farms and chickens. The food is delicious and they really go the extra mile to give you the full French experience. Also the lodging is great, with a large and comfortable bathroom + shower for yourself. Would certainly recommend anybody who is serious about learning French to visit Real French.

My week exceeded all of my expectations!
My week with Bernard and his family exceeded all of my expectations. I hadn’t taken French in years so I was feeling nervous. However, by the time my time was over my vocabulary and pronunciation improved dramatically! The most difficult thing for me was listening comprehension, and I am happy to say that within a few days I understood more spoken French than ever before. Bernard was so patient and understanding; he really creates a wonderful learning environment that just motivates you to want to learn more. His wife Veronique is delightful, an amazing cook and very kind and generous. Theo’s methods for learning pronunciation were superb and took me to the next level. It’s always been my dream to become fluent in French, and now I’m one step closer. Thank you so much! Will definitely come back again!

After an online review of all the FLE immersion courses available in France, I selected an intensive week at the DialoguE – Real French location in Kerfiac, France, under the tutorship of Bernard Henusse. Bernard is an exceptional instructor with a curriculum that is professional and extremely well-organized. After an evaluation of my skill level in various aspects of French, Bernard tailored a course that was specifically structured to my needs. In the end, those areas where I was the weakest at the beginning of the week showed the greatest improvement in my final evaluation. I am pleased and amazed at the overall improvement. Bernard also provided me with learning tools to assist in my future studies at home.
While my experience was focused on personalized, intense instruction, Bernard and his family were extremely friendly and hospitable throughout my stay. The meals were delicious and the accommodations wonderfully comfortable and private. The rural location afforded a beautiful and relaxing environment to walk in the afternoons providing a perfect way to balance out the day.
